Spotl1ght worked with Capella Hotel Group to launch its Ubud, Bail property to international consumer and trade media; positioning the resort as the ultimate tented camp retreat and highlighting USPs including design by Bill Bensley, the Auriga spa and adventure wellness.

During the campaign, Spotl1ght supported Capella with identifying awards and entries.  Between 2018 – 2019 Capella Ubud won accolades including The ULTRAS – Best New Hotel in The World, Conde Nast Traveller – Hot List “Best New Hotel in The World”, Travel + Leisure – The It List “Best New Hotel in The World”, Brides Honeymoon Awards – The Best Honeymoon Getaway,  AFAR – Stay List “Best New Hotel in The World” and  JETSETTER – Best for Romance.

Nestled between the rainforest, rice paddy fields and the sacred Wos River, in the Balinese artist village of Keliki, Capella Ubud, features 22 one-bedroom tents and a two-bedroom lodge, all with a private pool and large outdoor deck. Inspired by the first Europeans to settle in Bali in the 1800’s, celebrated architect and designer Bill Bensley has created the stunning rainforest camp as a tribute to their spirit of adventure. Sensitive to preserving Ubud’s densely forested terrain, no tree was felled during construction.
