The IBTM portfolio of events are the leading global events for the meetings and events industry. In 2004, Spotl1ght was selected to be the global PR agency at the outset of the event’s move from Geneva to Barcelona, Spain.

The team created an international campaign that identified media partners around the globe to collaborate in expanding awareness of the MICE events to grow both exhibitor and visitor attendance.

From the outset we were also part of a CEO panel of advisors, we worked on the plans to launch new events in both the UAE and China helping to create strategic media programmes that would become a central role for exhibitors during their marketing onsite. We developed a programme of exhibitor media briefings and press conferences, assisted the expansion of the onsite Show Daily, working closely to help that team integrate with exhibitors to share news and story-telling. Over a period of some 14 years our team established IBTM as a key platform for the MICE industry in Africa, Europe, China, Australia and the wider Middle East.
